Whether you're gifting this shoot to someone special or doing it to celebrate yourself, you're in for a fun, empowering experience. Below you’ll find answers to common questions, booking policies, and preparation tips to ensure you’re ready for an unforgettable photo shoot.
Booking Policies
RETAINER- I require a 50% NONREFUNDABLE retainer when you book, it does go towards your shoot balance. You will pay the remaining balance the day of the photo shoot. When I post sales on social media it will state if a retainer or full payment is required. My retainer is payable through Venmo, Zelle or with credit card. It is required to be paid the same day you book your appointment. Once a package is booked, it cannot be switched. If you do not show up, your retainer is forfeited. If you show up more then 45 minutes late your shoot without calling, you will be cancelled and the retainer will be forfeited. If you cancel within 24 hours, there is a $75 fee charged. If you are running late, please have the courtesy to call us at (702) 401-3303, because we might have additional appointments after you. Please show up at your appointment time, not before.
RESCHEDULING Life happens—I totally understand! If you need to reschedule your session, please do so as soon as possible, so I have time to fill your spot and avoid losing the day. I do understand circumstances and things happen. Please be respectful. You may reschedule up to two times for free. A $50 reschedule fee applies on the third reschedule. A fourth reschedule may result in cancellation and loss of your retainer, depending on the circumstances. Frequent rescheduling is not allowed, as it affects the studio schedule and other clients. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and prevent no-shows or flakiness. You have 3 months from your original appointment date to reschedule. After that, your retainer is forfeited.

⚡️ Rush editing is available for a $100 fee (images delivered within 48 hours).

LOCATION-Most of the images you see on our website and social media were taken at my private studio in Huntington Beach, California. The studio is fully equipped for both boudoir and pinup sessions, with furniture, and professional lighting to create the perfect atmosphere for your shoot.

While most sessions take place at the studio, I’ve also photographed clients in Las Vegas, San Diego, and even in clients' homes or hotel suites. If you’d like your shoot to take place off-site, a travel fee may apply depending on the location. Please note: I no longer offer photo shoots on the beach due to lighting, privacy, and scheduling challenges.
PROPS– What’s Available for Your Shoot? Yes, I do have a small selection of props available, but I like to keep things minimal and tasteful, focusing the attention on you and your personality. At the studio, you’ll have access to: A bed, sofas, background papers and chairs, classic items like pearls and veils. You're absolutely welcome to bring your own props—especially if they reflect your personal style or the theme you're going for. Popular additions include sports gear, military items, hats, or accessories that reflect a significant other’s interests.
Please note: I do not provide cars or motorcycles, but you're more than welcome to bring them to the studio for your shoot—many clients do!
HAIR- Please arrive with dry, clean hair—not wet. Ideally, your hair should be washed within 24 hours before your session. If it’s too oily, it may be difficult to style. Do not flat iron your hair if you want it curled—doing so can make curls fall flat. Instead, blow-dry straight to reduce frizz or smooth out natural curls. If you're bringing clip-in hair extensions, they must be real human hair (synthetic hair doesn’t curl or style well). My stylists are happy to install them for you. Please make sure your roots are touched up if they are grown out or noticeable—I do not retouch roots in editing. I work with three highly experienced, licensed hair stylists who are trained in all hair textures and styles. If you have specific concerns or unique hair needs, just let me know—I’ll make sure to pair you with the right stylist for your hair type.
MAKEUP-Please arrive with a clean, bare face. If you have a favorite moisturizer, feel free to apply it beforehand.We provide false lashes and a full face of makeup tailored to your style.You do not need to bring any makeup, but if you prefer certain brands or products, you’re welcome to bring them along. We use a mix of professional-grade, department store, and drugstore brands to create a flawless camera-ready look. Makeup inspo pictures are always welcome! I love seeing how you typically do your own makeup or what looks you’re drawn to—this helps us customize your look even more.
If you choose to come with makeup already done, please be sure it’s bold enough for the camera—what looks great in person may not show up well in photos.
OUTFITS- Please bring a variety of outfits/shoes/accessories with you, but we will only shoot in the number of outfits that comes with your package, unless you pay additional for extra outfits. If you add additional outfits outside of your package it is $50 for each outfit, because you are paying for more shooting time. Please check with me to make sure the extra time is available on your date.
If this is a gift for your hunny, think of outfits that they would like to see on you, but make sure it is something that will make you feel confident. Such as a sporty outfit, maybe the girl next door look, maybe he is into a more bondage look. Whatever his taste, variety is great. If you are undecided, bring what you have and I will help you choose which ones to wear. If you plan on wearing a really strappy outfit, make sure it is flattering and doesn’t have a lot of skin pinching or skin over hanging. A little pinching is normal. Also remember to steam or iron out clothes before coming. If you are bringing stockings, sometimes it is better to buy the ones without silicone/rubber at the top, they tend to pinch and sometimes if there is silicone underneath, the garter belts will sometimes not stay attached. If you can’t find them, don’t stress over it. If you aren’t wearing an outfit that requires a strap to connect to stockings, you are fine with the stay up elastic top brands.
A few good places to shop for stockings are Typically Torrid, Amazon, Fredricks, bluebella and Honey Birdette, they have the stockings without rubber on the top. Please make sure that all tags and stickers are off of your clothing and shoes, unless you plan on returning them and need to leave them on. Make sure to have at least 2 pairs of shoes, a good note is to always have a black pair. Also please try not to bring shoes that aren’t overly worn on the bottoms. Some scuffs are ok, but really worn are not.
Please make sure not to wear anything that will create lines on your body while you are getting ready. Wear lose fitting cozy clothes for getting ready. When it comes to outfits that might need booby tape, Target has all different types of tapes and cutlets. It is not required unless you think it can help with certain outfits.
COUPLES -If you are doing a couples shoot, please make sure your hunny has a variety of options, such as briefs/boxers, jeans, possible dress pants, if that is the style you are shooting for. Men must come with their hair styled. We do get sexy with the couples shoots, but not pornographic. Implied and Teasing is how I describe it.
INSPO PICTURES -Please save some photos on your phone or create a board on Pinterest that inspires you. It will help me gauge what direction to take your photo shoot. Any kind of inspiration photos you find, whether it is for hair/makeup or poses, is always helpful. Please only save around 10-15 inspiration photos.
GROOMING - Please make sure to shave/wax any areas needed. If you need your hair color touched up, please do that, unfortunately I do not edit hair color. Nails are your choice for color , neutral always looks good.
TANNING-If you plan on getting a spray tan or fake baking please do not over do it. I suggest doing it at least 3-5 days before hand, so you do not look orange in the photos, it is hard to edit. Also I cannot edit overly strong tan lines, medium to low tan lines are ok. If you plan on bringing your own bronzer please make sure it will not transfer onto the furniture.
POSING INSTRUCTION - What if I have never modeled before? I instruct you the whole way through the shoot on how to pose. Many of my girls have never done this type of shoot before, we understand it can make you feel nervous and outside of your comfort zone. I will do my best to make sure you feel comfortable. We like to have fun at my studio. I will put you in many different poses to find the most flattering for your body type. Please make sure to STRETCH some, I do require you to arch a lot and many clients can may be sore for a day afterwards.
PHOTOGRAPHY TYPE-What is the difference between Glamour & Pin-up? Pin up photography is recreating photography from the 40’s and 50’s and glamour is more along the lines of boudoir and modern pinup such as maxim, playboy and beauty shots.
REFERENCES- Do you have references or feedback from previous clients? I have over 400 reviews online that are online for you to review. I have been shooting for over 18 years. You can find them on yelp, google and multiple wedding sites.
PAYMENT - I accept all major credit cards, as well as Zelle, cash and Venmo. I do not accept checks.
GIFT CERTIFICATES - If you have purchased a gift certificate, it must be used within a 2 year period. No exceptions.
FRIENDS/FAMILY -We allow only 1 person to come with you because of space. Please let me know if you are bringing someone. In regards to behind the scenes photos, I do encourage a few to be taken, but please keep them to a minimum while I am shooting. I also ask that the person that accompanies you does not hover around me or you while I am shooting. If you are ok with it, I would love it if you sent a few our way and we will feature them on our IG story.
PERSONAL TOUCHES- A lot of the times girls will bring in a gift or something personal from their hunny to include in the photo. I think that is a great personal touch, but you do not want to over do it. If they have a favorite team, absolutely you should wear something with that on it. If you do bring a sports related item to go along with it. Maybe they are in the military or are a cowboy, bring things that are in that theme, it could come out great. Doesn’t hurt to try.
LIQUID COURAGE- You are welcome to drink, I know some of the girls get nervous and need a little liquid courage. You are welcomed to bring your fav with you. Pussycat Pinups and/or Beth Cocuzzi is not responsible for you drinking and driving. I want you to have fun, but still be responsible.
MUSIC - We always have music playing for you, typically we are playing Pandora/Spotify. If you have a play list I am more than happy to play it.
COME AND HAVE FUN, the shoot is not meant to be a stressful shoot. We always have music playing for you to get in the mood. I want you to come and relax and just be yourself it will show in the pictures if you are having fun and being you! I am there for you in every step of the way. I am posing with you and helping with outfits etc. Remember men don't analyze the pictures like we do . They are visual creatures, we are the emotional ones. They will look at them and love them!
SESSION TIME -How long do the sessions last? The average shoot lasts about 1-3 hours and that includes hair and makeup prep, it all depends on which package is purchased. The packages will list the time. Times vary. If it does not include hair/mu then usually it takes and hour.
EDITING- Do you retouch the photos? YES I do, there is a certain amount I will edit that is included in your package. I do nip and tuck some, but realistically. I will make sure your skin looks flawless (meaning no scars, cellulite or stretch marks etc.), Lighting will be adjusted if needed and you can have b&w and color if you request it. For more explanation just ask and I will explain. I am on time constraints with some clients and cannot have people sitting on photos to be edited and waiting until the last minute.
PRODUCT TURNOVER- How long does it take to get the finished product back? Average time varies, from the day you choose your images. It could be 1-2 weeks or as long as a month. The reason for this is, I am editing the images by myself and it takes time when you are working on 25-40 girls a month with photo shoots, everyone has a different amount of images to be edited. Bridal season is from March-October and we get pretty busy. I do work on sooner deadlines first. If you order a large amount of images to be edited, it can take more time. You can pay an expedite fee of $100 to have the digital images retouched within a 48 hours. If you are ordering a book, I would prefer to have a minimum of at least 2 weeks for production and shipping, depending on the printer I use. Sometimes we can get it faster, depending on workload. Please make sure to download and back up your images when I send them to you. I do delete the album links that I send to you after you download the photos. I try to keep your photos on my backup drives for a few years. Just in case you lose them. I cannot guarantee I will have them forever.
POSTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA-Please only tag us on fully edited photos. Avoid applying filters to our work. We don’t post client images without permission.
